papaya salad / pickle papaya

Indonesia recipes

  • Ingredients pickles:
    *500 grams of half-ripe papaya fruit
    *1 / 2 tsp whiting
    *Sufficient water
  • Vinegar sauce:
    *10 pieces of red chilli
    *2 tablespoons toasted ebi
    *4 tablespoons granulated sugar
    *1 tablespoon vinegar
    *Salt to taste
    *200 cc water
Directions:
1. Peel papaya. Soak in a mixture of water and whiting during the half hour. Thinlyshaved. Mix with salt and knead until wilted. Rinse clean. Flush with water and wring it out until the water runs out.
2. Make gravy. Puree of red chilies, dried shrimp, salt, and sugar. Mix with water andvinegar. Mix well.
3. Boil until boiling.
Soak papaya in vinegar mixture. Let stand until the spices to infuse.
4. Put on the fridge
